Dr. Ken Danylchuk is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon and a proud member of the Colorado Medical Society, Pueblo Medical Society, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, and North American Spine Society.

Originally from Canada, Dr. Ken Danylchuk has called Southern Colorado home for over three decades. Dr. Danylchuk primarily lives with his wife, Cathy, on his ranch in Rye, Colorado, where he raises buffalo. He actively participates in his communities, including the development of St. Therese Catholic School. Dr. Danylchuk also played hockey with the Men’s Hockey Association for decades but has since hung up his skates. When he wasn’t playing hockey, Dr. Danylchuk coached his son’s teams for many years in Pueblo’s Youth Hockey League. Outside his practice in Pueblo, Dr. Danlychuk spent over three decades as a physician with the French Ski Team in World Cup Competitions. He also lent his medical expertise to Health4Haiti, attending multiple mission trips to Haiti. Currently, Dr. Danylchuk provides support to an orthopedic mission group in Tanzania. Dr. Danylchuk’s wealth of experience and dedication to research and new technology make him an excellent choice for orthopedic total joint replacement and spine disorders.

Dr. Danylchuk’s professional accomplishments include attending Canada’s most respected medical institution, McGill University. His research degrees include an MSc and Ph.D. from the University of Western Ontario. Dr. Danlychuk studied topics including Metabolic Bone Disease, Environmental Toxicology, and Osteoporosis. He went on to complete his surgical internship at UCLA and his surgical residency at Dartmouth University. He then completed his Orthopedic Residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University. Dr. Danylchuk also completed an Orthopedic Fellowship in Total Joint Reconstruction at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston.

Dr. Danylchuk’s other accomplishments include Senior Lecturer at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Duke University, Asheville VA Medical Centre.

Throughout his diverse and unique career, Dr. Danylchuk has gained a wide variety of orthopedic experiences in diagnosing and treating conditions such as osteoarthritis of the hip, knee, and shoulder, spinal disorders such as degenerative disc disease and spondylolisthesis, and joint revision surgery.
